Congrats to the Happy Couple....

So I set the alarm for 4:00am, but ended up pulling myself out of bed at 4:35am. I didn't miss much, which was good. The British are so good on timing! Love that. And all the hats, love them too!! Wish we did that more here in the US. The dresses that Kate and Pippa were wearing are designs by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen house. So beautiful!! I really want Pippa's dress! And Kate's dress look so much like Grace Kelley's dress. Lovely!

Well, congrats again to the happy couple and many happy wishes and prayers to them. It's nice to have some good news lately. Happy Friday everyone!! Enjoy!

Strawberry Scrub for a Spa Weekend....

So Spa Week is going on next week (4/11 - 4/17). Make sure all of you Spa goers look for great deals on SpaWeek.com. But for those of you who can't get to a spa anytime soon (or who are saving your $$$), here's a great strawberry scrub you can make at home. Enjoy!

Strawberry Sugar Scrub with Coconut Oil

1-2 large, ripe strawberries
1/2 cup white sugar
1/4 cup coconut oil, heated slightly so it’s liquid
  • Combine sugar and cocount oil until it is blended, but not quite a paste.
  • Add strawberry and mash with a fork to combine with the sugar and oil mixture until it forms a smooth paste.
  • The strawberry doesn’t have to be completely mashed up.
  • Rub the scrub into your skin in a circular motion to exfoliate in the shower, concentrating on areas with dry or rough patches like elbows, knees, and feet.
  • Leave it on for a few minutes so the strawberry can exfoliate and the coconut oil can moisturize.
  • Rinse and apply lotion if needed.
  • You can store it in the fridge if you don’t use it all.

Somtimes You Just Feel That Way....

Sometimes things aren't always as black and white as it seems. Sometimes inspirations come from a different view in a lonely place not far away...

White Winds on a Monday....

It's been such a nice day with the warm weather. The gust of winds that blow by from time to time through my open window. I watch the white, draped linen blow gently as the gusts goes by. And think of the soft, white flowers blooming on the trees outside my window. How delicate the flowers are on the trees, that the wind can just blow them away without even a thought. I sit here, looking at more white photos that remind me of the white linen and flowers that are blowing gently in the wind, quietly hoping for a another warm day... Enjoy!
